For Chicago-area installers
Christmas light installation leads, without the lead-gen games.
Holiday Home Ideas reaches homeowners planning their Christmas decorating across Chicagoland. When one of them wants their lights professionally installed, we send that request to one installer, exclusively. Your first lead is free. After that it is $50 a lead, junk leads replaced, no subscription, stop any time.
How it works
- 1
A homeowner asks us for an installer
They arrive from our Chicago-area lights guides, our hiring guides, and our AI visualizer, and they fill out a real request: project type, home size, budget band, timeline, and their phone number.
- 2
We send the lead to you, and only you
Leads are exclusive. One homeowner goes to one installer, matched on service area. No racing three competitors to the phone.
- 3
You quote the job your way
We are not in the middle. You call or email the homeowner directly, quote your own price, and the job is entirely yours.
The terms, in plain words
First lead free
You should not have to trust a new lead source on faith. The first lead we send you costs nothing, so the quality proves itself before a dollar changes hands.
$50 per lead after the first
Flat, per qualified lead, billed as you receive them. On typical install jobs of $500 to $3,000, one closed job pays for a season of leads.
Exclusive to you
We never sell the same homeowner to multiple installers. Your lead is your lead.
Junk leads replaced, free
Fake number, outside your area, unreachable after three genuine attempts: tell us and we replace it at no charge. You only pay for real homeowners.
No subscription, no contract
No monthly fee, no minimum, stop any time. This is a seasonal business and the terms respect that.
Where the homeowners come from
We publish the decorating guides and light-display pages Chicagoland homeowners read while planning their season, and we built the AI visualizer that shows a homeowner their own house decorated before they commit to anything. Someone who has already seen lights on their roofline and filled in a budget band is a different phone call from a directory click. That request comes to you with the project type, home size, budget, and timeline attached.

Fair questions
What does a lead include?
Name, phone, email, ZIP code, project type (roofline, full exterior, trees and shrubs, and so on), home size, budget band, timeline, and any notes the homeowner added. You see what they asked for before you call.
How many leads can I expect?
Honestly: this is our first Chicago season, so we will not invent a number. Demand builds from October through early December alongside our seasonal traffic. That is exactly why the first lead is free and there is no subscription; the volume risk is ours, not yours.
Why work with a Christmas decorating site?
Because the homeowner often arrives having already seen their own house decorated. Our AI visualizer shows people their actual home with lights on the roofline before they ever ask for an installer, which produces a warmer, more decided lead than a generic directory click.
Do I need to be insured?
You can apply either way, but insured installers get priority on leads, and we say so plainly. Homeowners ask about it, and rooftop work in December is exactly where insurance earns its premium.
How do I pay?
After your free lead, we invoice by card as leads are delivered. No deposit, no credits to pre-buy unless you prefer that.
